Traffic Police National Highway Ramban General Traffic Advisory-during SANJY-2024
(General Traffic Advisory to be followed during SANJY-2024)
• Drivers engaged for SANJY-2024 shall follow Traffic rules, and refrain from overloading, over speeding, using mobile phone while driving, rash driving carrying passengers in goods vehicles etc.
• Drivers shall follow lane discipline and park their vehicles in designated parking.
• First aid box, fire extinguisher, water camper and spare tyre shall be mandatory for all vehicles engaged for Yatra. The condition of Vela vehicles should be kept in good condition.
• All transporters are advised that vehicles engaged for carrying pilgnms or other goods related to Yatra shall not be overloaded and shall refrain from over speeding
• The vehicles shall be kept mechanically fit along with documents of the vehicles
• Traffic Police NHW request all commenters to keep their vehicles mechanically fit. Commuters are requested to check fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyre condition. Jack and Spare Tyres. Lights and indicators before starting their journey on NH-44
• For overtaking and wrong lane driving violators will be Challaned heavily.
• Commuters are requested to Refrain from drunken driving, using mobile while driving and allowing under age driving.
• Commuters coming from other states/UTs are requested to follow lane discipline and Traffic Advisory and it is requested that not to poke out of sun roof, violators will be booked under M.V Act.
• For the convenience of commuters, the following mechanics can be contacted on NH-44 in case of any vehicle breakdown, for any vehicle mechanical related issue.
