Provisional Selection List for the 502 posts of Constable (Telecommunication) in J&K Police, Home Department advertised
vide Notification No.01 of 2024 dated 16.07.2024 under Item No. 03

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, vide Indent No. Home/PNG/268/2022/(CC-7040944) dated 27.06.2024, received 4002 Posts of Constable in J&K Police of Home Department, advertised vide Notification No. 01 of 2024 dated 16.07.2024, out of which 502 posts were categorized as follows :

Name of the Post : Constable (Telecommunication)

Whereas, the requisite qualification for selection against these posts, as per the Indent was/is 10+2 (with Science) and the criteria for Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test was as per Advertisement and SO 214 dated 01.07.2021; and

Whereas, the JKSSB, accordingly conducted (OMR) based written examinations for these 502 posts on 08.12.2024 and accordingly the Result/Score Sheet was declared on 20.01.2025; and

Whereas, after the publication of Results/ Score-sheets, the candidates were shortlisted for Physical (Standard/Endurance) tests vide notification dated 26.11.2025 and the tests were conducted in the month of December, 2025; and

Whereas vide notification dated 04.12.2025, candidates falling within the consideration zone were called for Document Verification, which was held at both the Jammu and Srinagar offices of JKSSB. This was followed by Supplementary Document Verification on 15.12.2025; and

Whereas, vide Office Order No. 397-SSB of 2025 dated 16.12.2025 a selection committee was constituted for preparing the Selection List for these 502 posts in J&K Police of Home Department, advertised vide Notification No. 01 of 2024 dated 16.07.2024 under Item No 03; and

Whereas, the said Selection Committee, upon scrutiny of the Indent/ Advertisement, prepared the Provisional Selection List for 502 posts of Constables in accordance with the Merit/ Eligibility and as per the extant rules and the same was placed in the Board in its 333rd Meeting, held on 29.12.2025, which after due deliberations and consideration of the matter, approved its notification.

Now, therefore, the Provisional Selection List of the candidates for 502 posts in J&K Police of Home Department, advertised vide Notification No. 01 of 2024 dated 16.07.2024, item no. 03, is hereby notified as per “Annexure-A” to this

Notification. It is further notified that :

a. This Provisional Selection List shall be subject to the outcome of the OAs/Writ Petition(s), if any, pending in the competent court
of law.

b. This shall also be subject to the outcome of any pending inquiry, involving candidate(s) if any, figuring in this Provisional
Selection List.

c. This is a Provisional List and shall be subject to the change(s) as per the objections as may be received against it and mere figuring
in it shall not confer any right to selection, which shall be finalized after examination of the objections based on merit.

d. In case any candidate(s) is/are aggrieved with this Provisional Selection List, or intends to furnish any document/clarification regarding his/her withheld candidature, he/she may represent through the e-mail address [email protected] within (10) Ten days from the date of this Notification, beyond which no representations whatsoever shall be entertained.

The representations in this regard shall necessarily include complete details of the candidate including Name, Address, Roll Number and Contact Number.
