Appointment of Assistant Professor in the Higher Education Dept
As recommended by the J&K Public Service Commission, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of the following candidates as Assistant Professors (Horticulture Technology) on a Regular Temporary basis in the Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP Rs. 6000/- (Pre-revised) Academic Level-10 with Pay Structure of Rs. 57700/- in the Higher Education Department, with immediate effect:
The candidates hailing from Kashmir Division shall report to the Nodal Principal, Government College of Education, Srinagar, and the candidates hailing from Jammu Division shall report to the Nodal Principal, Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of this order, failing which their appointment shall be deemed to have been canceled without any notice.
Conditions for Appointment:
The appointees will be on probation for a period of two years from the date of joining.
The appointment will be governed by the βNew Pension Schemeβ as per SRO 400 of 2009 dated 24-12-2009.
The appointees shall produce the following original documents at the time of joining for verification:
Domicile Certificate
Date of Birth Certificate
Qualification and Marks Certificate (NET/SLET/Ph.D., etc.)
Relevant Category Certificate (if applicable)
Health and Medical Certificate
Any other required certificates
The salary of the appointees shall be disbursed only after verification of their credentials. Inter-se seniority will be determined as per the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.
The appointment is subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts.
