Class-IV Shortlisting in Youth Services and Sports Department, J&K

On the basis of Advertisement Notice issued by Directorate of Youth Services & Sports vide advertisement Notice No. 01 dated 10-01-2017, 799 applications were received for the post of Class -IV District Cadre Jammu against 07 posts in accordance with the criteria fixed/published In the notice.

The short listing of candidates was done purely on the merit basis.

The ratio adopted for short listing of candidates was 15 i.e. 05 candidates against one post. Further, the criteria for selection has been fixed by the Govt. vide letter No. 7-11 dated 10.01-2017 as under.

The weight-age has been calculated on pro-rata basis with reference to percentage of marks obtained in each examination. The formula to calculate points for each qualification is

% X total points for particular qualification divided by 100 i.e 60 points for matric and 10 points for 10+2.

The list is published for inviting objections if any from the candidates with regard to their claim over and above the shortlisted candidates which should reach this office along with documentary proof within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice along with shortlist of candidates in the print media.

No objections after the said period shall be entertain
