District Youth Service & Sports Officer Ramban Final Seniority List Released
ORDER
Whereas, the administrative department vide YSS-Adm/14/2022-02-YS&S Dated: – 16-01-2025 advised to update the seniority list of Physical Education Teachers in terms of SRO-375 of J&K Decentralization & Recruitment Act 2010 issued by General Administration Department: and
Whereas, the Directorate of Youth Services &. Sports, J&K vide order no. DG- YSS/Estt/455-79 Dated:- 09-04-2025, constituted District Level Committees headed by the concerned District Youth Services & Sports Officers and accordingly authorized these committees to prepare the District wise seniority of Physical Education Teachers as per rules in vogue and it was further ordered that the concerned Joint Directors Youth Services & Sports will examine the draft seniority lists and ensure that all the rules & regulations governing the formulation of seniority list are strictly adhered to. The final seniority lists shall be issued only after being vetted by the concerned Joint Directors YSS Jammu/Kashmir: and
Whereas, this office had issued tentative seniority list of Physical Education Teachers vide notice no. No. DYSSO/R/1039-50 Dated: 22-10-2025 which was published in two leading newspapers for inviting objections, if any, from the stakeholders; and
Whereas, this office has received 10 objections from the stakeholders within 21 days from the Date of Publication of the Notice in the newspaper through Department of Information and Public Relations, J&K
Whereas, the updated seniority list is also vetted by the Joint Director Youth Services & Sports concerned in terms of rules in vogue.
Whereas, the District Level Committee headed by the undersigned had convened the meeting on 24 -12-2025 and the objections received by this office have been examined/scrutinized thoroughly by the committee and necessary corrections/additions/deletions have been made in the seniority list as indicated below :
Now, therefore, in terms of Rule 24 of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, the final seniority list in respect of Physical Education Teachers in respect of District Ramban is hereby issued forming annexure to this order for information among all officials.
The date (s) of birth/Reserved Category/ Qualification recorded in the seniority list against the officials shall be subject to further verification from the original service book matriculation certificate/qualification certificate/permission from the competent issuing authority at the time of placement on higher position. If the Reserved category Certificates (s) furnished by any official turns out be false/fake later on, the same shall be deemed to have been cancelled, ab-initio along with all such benefits which the official(s) would have availed on the basis of such false/fake certificates.
The seniority list so issued will be subject to outcome of writ petition(s) pending, if any, before any Competent Court of Law.
