Final Seniority List of Junior Assistants of Rural Development Department District Jammu as it stood on 01-06-2024.

Whereas, Tentative Seniority list of Junior Assistants of Rural Development Department Jammu was issued by this Office vide No. ACDJ/Estt/2023-24/16043-63 Dated:10-02-2024.
Whereas, a Revised Tentative Seniority List of the Junior Assistants as it stood on 01-06-2024 has been issued as per Annexure -A to the Notification No. ACDJ/2024-25/106 Dated: 08-06-2024 under endorsement No. ACDJ/Estt/2024-25/3267-85 Dated: 08-06-2024 for inviting objections from the concerned officials within a period of 15 days from the date of the issuance of the Notification.
Whereas, the Director Rural Development, Jammu vide Letter No. DRDJ-Estt/24/2022-03/120594/43652-62 Dated:06-02-2024 has directed to conduct the DPCs at the District as well as Divisional Level Posts in respect of all eligible employees (i.e Non-Gazetted/Class-IV (MTS) in Ministerial as well as Executive Cadre) against the substantive vacancies, available under district cadre promotion quota only in terms of the existing J&K , Rural Development (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 2007.
Whereas, this office is in receipt of objections to the Revised Tentative Seniority list of Junior Assistants of Jammu District issued vide Assistant Commissioner Development. Jammu’s Notification No. ACDJ/2024-25/106 Dated: 08-06-2024 from the various Officials.
Whereas, this Office vide Order No.47-ACDJ of 2025 Dated: 14-02-2025 has constituted a Committee and directed to scrutinize all the representations/ objections received in response to the Revised Tentative Seniority List issued vide this office Notification No. ACDJ/2024-25/106 Dated: 08-06-2024.
Whereas, the committee has submitted the report dated: 27-02-2025 regarding the objections filed regarding the Finalization of the Seniority list of Junior Assistants of Jammu District.
Now, therefore Final Seniority List of Junior Assistants as it stood on 01-06-2024 as per Annexure-“A” to this notification is hereby issued for information of all the concerned which shall remain available in the Office of Block development Officers of District Jammu.
The Date of Birth Certificate /Educational Qualification/Category indicated against each Official in the Final Seniority list shall not be taken as authentic, which shall have reference to the date of birth recorded in the Service Book/DOB Certificate/Educational Qualification Certificate /Category Certificate, as required under rules.
The Block Development Officers are directed to submit to this office the attested copy of the first page of the service book and copy of date of birth certificate of the Officials listed in the Annexure “A” to this Notification for verification of relevant entries recorded in the Final Seniority List. The Officials claiming the SC & ST category are required to relevant category certificates issued by the concerned Tehsildar to claim benefits of the categories, if applicable.
As such, the Final Seniority List is issued without pre-judice to the outcome of writ petition(s) pending, if any, on the subject before any competent Court of Law.
