Engagement of Junior Resident in the Goverment Medical College, Rajouri
As recommended by the selection committee, sanction is accorded to the engagement of below mentioned candidates as Junior Resident in Government Medical College Rajouri initially for a period of Six Months extendable further on satisfactory performance under relevant rules. The appointees shall be paid salary in terms of S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020.
The engagement of the above Junior Resident shall however be subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Provisionally selected candidates should bring 2 sets of documents (Photocopied & self-attested) to be submitted at the time of joining.
2. The appointment shall be subject to work and conduct of the Junior Resident in the college/ Hospital/Dispensary remaining satisfactory during his/her tenure. In the case of misconduct or negligence in duties or found indulging in strike or any other activities which affect the hospital services/patient care, the tenure appointment of doctor shall be terminated without any notice.
3. The appointment under these rules shall not entitle the appointee to any preferential claim for regular appointment.
4. The appointee shall be whole timer and shall not engage himself/herself in private practice. In the event of those doctors found resorting to private practice his/her appointment will be terminated without any notice and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.
5. Salary shall be disbursed only after satisfactory report from Inspector General of Police, CID, J&K will be received.
6. The Junior Resident shall be required to stay in the college/hospital premises if residential accommodation is available or he/she shall have to reside near Associated Hospital.
7. The Junior Resident shall be liable to be transferred from the college even during the period of their tenure if his/her services are required in the public interest elsewhere
8. The Junior Resident shall be asked to give an undertaking to the effect that he/she have read the aforesaid terms and condition and he/she shall abide the same before he/she is allowed to join.
9. Experience/NOC will not be issued if any Junior Resident resigns before a period of six (06) months.
10. Any appointee doctor intending to leave the job (after 06 months) shall have to provide one month’s prior notice duly forwarded by the concerned HOD or else he/she will have to deposit one month’s salary with the institution.
11. The above candidates shall report to the Principal, Govt. Medical College Rajouri in case of failure of the appointee to join within a period of seven days from the date of issuance of this appointment order, he/she shall forego his/her appointment, which shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio without any further notice.
12. The appointee under these rules shall have to execute an agreement with the Government on the prescribed form appended as form “A” to these rules.
13. In case of any interpretation and relaxation the above terms and conditions is concerned, the regarding decision of the undersigned shall be final.
14. All original necessary documents shall be produced at the time of joining. Insufficiency in any case shall lead to the cancellation of candidature.
15. This order is issued without any prejudice to any writ petitions lying pending before any Hon’ble Court of Law.
