Notification regarding Candiates shortlisted for interview on the basis of their merit in the OMR based written exam held on 16.03.2025 (Kashmir Division) and 23.03.2025 (Jammu Division) for the posts of Junior Assistant in the District Judiciary of UT of J&K, pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2024/Psy dated 28.08.2024
1. The candidates shown in Annexure-“A” (Jammu Division) and Annexure-“B” (Kashmir Division) to this Notification have been shortlisted for interview based on their merit in the OMR-based written exam held on 16.03.2025 (Kashmir Division) & 23.03.2025 (Jammu Division) for the posts of Junior Assistant in the District Judiciary of UT of J&K, pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2024/Psy dated 28.08.2024.
2. The interviews for shortlisted candidates will commence from 23rd June 2025 (Monday) at the High Court Complex, Janipur, Jammu for Jammu Division, and at the High Court Complex, Srinagar for Kashmir Division. The exact dates and venues for the interviews are provided in Annexure-A and Annexure-B, respectively.
3. The reporting time for the interview shall be 9:00 AM.
4. The candidates shall have to bring proof of identity with them at the time of the interview, like Aadhar Card, PAN card, Driving license, Passport etc.
5. The candidates shall have to produce all original certificates/Documents/testimonials! (Uploaded at the time of online form filling) before the interview committee at the time of their interview, along with photocopies of the same. Any candidate who fails to produce
his/her original certificates/testimonials may forfeit his/her candidature.
6. Only shortlisted candidates shall be allowed to appear in the interview who fulfil all the notified eligibility requirements.
7. Mere figuring of name in the shortlist shall not entitle a candidate to appear in the interview, which shall be subject to the scrutiny of all testimonials of the shortlisted candidates.
8. No individual interview call letters shall be issued to the candidates whose names are figuring in Annexure-A & Annexure-B to this Notification.
9. In the event of any deficiency found at the time of the interview concerning the eligibility of any candidate, such candidate may not be allowed to appear in the interview.
10. Guidelines for Ex-Servicemen :
a) Ex-servicemen must strictly adhere to the provisions contained in S.O. 361 dated 20.10.2021, known as the Jammu and Kashmir Ex-Servicemen (Re-employment in Public Services and Posts) Rules, 2021.
b) A matriculate ex-serviceman—which includes individuals who possess the Indian Army Certificate of Education or an equivalent certificate from the Navy or Air Force—and who has completed at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces may be considered eligible for appointment to the advertised posts.
c) Candidates seeking consideration under the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) category must produce a certificate issued by the respective Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO). In addition, they must submit an affidavit (duly attested by a Magistrate of First Class) stating that they have not previously availed the benefit under the ESM category for any post. If it is found at any stage of the selection process—or afterwards—that a candidate has already availed such a benefit, his/her candidature will be cancelled with immediate effect without any prior notice. Such candidates will have no claim to the post, and legal proceedings will be initiated for submitting a false affidavit.
11. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
12. Any candidate who is listed among the shortlisted on the same date candidates for interviews in both Jammu and Kashmir Divisions simultaneously should contact this Secretariat via email at [email protected] request for rescheduling of
