Declaration of the Result of Assistant Director (E&S), in J&K Planning Development & Monitoring Department — Deployment of the Candidates for Medical Examination thereof.

Whereas, the Planning, Development & Monitoring Department, vide letter No. PDMD-HRM/38/2022 dated 10.01.2023 referred Nine (09) posts of Assistant Director (E&S), (OM-05, RBA-01, SC-01, ST-01, EWS-01) to the J&K Public Service Commission for selection of suitable candidates; and,

Whereas, the posts were advertised vide Notification No. 13-PSC (DR-P) of 2023 dated 13.04.2023. The cut-off date for determination of eligibility was fixed as 16.05.2023; and,

Whereas, again, the Department, vide letter No. PDMD-HRM/38/2022 dated 21.02.2024, referred Eighty Nine (89) posts of Assistant Director (E&S), (OM-44, RBA-08, SC-07, ST-09, EWS-09, PSP-04, ALC/IB-04, SOC-04) to the J&K Public Service Commission, for selection of suitable candidates; and,

Whereas, the posts were advertised vide Notification No. 01-PSC (DR-P) of 2024 dated 05.03.2024. The cut-off date for determination of eligibility was fixed as 27.03.2024; and,

Whereas, written examination for the posts of Assistant Director (E&S) against both notifications was conducted w.e.f 06.08.2024 to 21.08.2024 at Srinagar & Jammu. 05 candidates remained absent; and,

Whereas, 37 & 264 candidates were declared to have provisionally qualified for appearing in the interview against notification dated: 13.04.2023 & 05.03.2024 respectively, vide Notification No. PSC/Exam(S)/2025/06 dated 31.01.2025; and,

Whereas, 35 candidates were common & because of rejection of candidature on account of ineligibility, 258 candidates were called for interview vide Notice dated: 27.09.2025; and,

Whereas, some candidates whose eligibility was rejected, obtained orders from the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal for conducting their interview. Accordingly 14 candidates were called for interview vide notice dated 14.10.2025 and 01 candidate vide Notice dated 15.10.2025; and,

Whereas, the interview was conducted from 08.10.2025 to 16.10.2025 at JKPSC office Srinagar; and,

Whereas, the Commission in its Extra Ordinary Meeting held today on 16.10.2025, decided to declare the result of the candidates who had appeared in the interview except that the candidate who was declared failed in terms of Rule-32 of J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules. Further, the Commission decided not to declare the result of the candidates who were interviewed on the orders of Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal.
