JKBOPEE Provisional selection list of Candidates to NEET MD/ MS/PGD Courses

Provisional selection list of candidates upgraded/allotted seats during Mop Up Round of counselling (physical) for admission to NEET MD/ MS/PGD Courses including seats under the HM and NRI quota in the ASCOMS-2023.

iv) Notice No. 028-BOPEE of 2023 dated 22.09.2023.

vi) Notification No. 091-BOPEE of 2023 dated 11.10.2023.

Pursuant to Notification No. 091-BOPEE of 2023 dated 11.10.2023, the Mop Up Round of counselling (physical) for upgradation / allotment of seats of NEET MD/MS/PGD Courses including seats under the HM and NRI quota in the ASCOMS2023 was conducted by the Board on 14th October, 2023 at BOPEE Office Jammu/Srinagar simultaneously. The list of the candidates who have been provisionally upgraded / allotted seats / disciplines in Government/Private Medical Colleges/Institutions is hereby notified as per the Annexure “A” to this notification which shall remain available on official website of the Board i.e. www.jkbopee.gov.in only.

The candidates upgraded / allotted seats/disciplines / Institutions during Mop Up Round shall have to join in the allotted Institutions by or before 20.10.2023 upto 4.00 p.m. positively from the date of issuance of this notification.

It is further notified for information of all the concerned candidates that the upgradation/allotment of seats during the Mop Up Round of Counseling shall be purely on provisional basis and shall not confer any preferential right upon the selected candidates and shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition WP(C) No 2233/2023, CM No 5216 / 2023 titled Nadeem-ur-Rehman & Ors. vs. UT of J&K & Ors and any other writ petition, subjudice before the Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh, on the subject.

Note :

1. The admission of the candidates upgraded/allotted seats during Mop Up Round of counselling is purely provisional and shall be liable to be cancelled in case any information furnished by any candidates proves to be false/fabricated, and action as warranted under law shall be initiated against such candidates.

2. The candidates who have been upgraded /allotted seats during the mop up round shall have to necessarily join in the college against the allotted seat(s).

3. The Heads of the colleges are advised to release the documents/ certificates and fee immediately to such candidates who have been upgraded during mop up round of counselling to enable them to complete the admission formalities within the prescribed time limit.

4. It is hereby implored upon the management of all Colleges/Institutions to ensure the veracity of documents, particularly the Category Certificates wherever the admission is to be granted in lieu of a particular Reserved Category. So, far as the Persons with Disability are concerned, if selected in open merit or against a Reserved category it shall be ensured that his/her PwD Certificate/eligibility is in conformity with Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and wherever required, shall refer the
matter to concerned Medical Board to assess such candidates and make recommendations based on which Institutions shall take further necessary action. In case any candidate does not fulfill the benchmarks of eligibility as per PwD Reservation Act 2016 his/her admission shall be cancelled on his/her risk and responsibility under intimation to the Board.

5. This notification is issued without any prejudice and subject to final outcome of the writ petition WP(C) No 2233/2023, CM No 5216 / 2023 titled Nadeem-ur-Rehman & Ors. vs. UT of J&K & Ors. and any other writ petition, subjudice in the Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh, on the subject.

6. As notified vide Notification No. 091-BOPEE of 2023 dated 11.10.2023, the Board has first conducted the counselling of all Reserved Category candidates and the 57 seats have remained vacant due to non-availability of eligible candidates in these categories and accordingly these seats have been converted into open merit as provided under Section 9 (2) of J&K Reservation Act 2004 and accordingly allotted to the eligible candidates under open merit on the basis of merit cum preference: – The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified by the Board in various Notifications, Notices and eInformation Brochure in this regard.
