Consequent upon the receipt of indent/ requisition from the Public Works
(R&B) Department, vide indent No. PWD-Adm/122/2021 (Comp. No. 118431) dated:
06.04.2022, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), advertised
855 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Public Works (R&B) Department, UT Cadre for
making direct recruitment to these posts as
Accordingly, the Final Selection List for the aforesaid posts was notified
vide Notification No.13-Selection of 2024 dated 21.02.2024, which was subsequently
forwarded to the department vide letter No. JKSSB-Scry/2/2024-03 (E-7390977)
dated: 23.02.2024.
The waiting list for these posts was not forwarded with the main
selection list as the provisions for drawing up the waiting list were omitted vide S.o.
496 dated 26.09.2023. However, vide S.0 134 of 2024 dated 28h February, 2024, the
provisions for preparation of the waiting lists were revived.
Consequent upon the above, the proposal for notifying the Wait List for
the above said posts was placed in the Board and notified vide Notification No. JKSSB
Scry/2/2024-03 (E-7390977) dated 21.06.2024.
Accordingly, the undersigned is directed to forward herewith the waiting
list for the aforesaid posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), UT Cadre, Public Works (R&B)
Department, advertised vide Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated 11.11.2022, Item
No.201, as per Annexure-A, with the request to proceed in the matter accordingly.
The above Waiting List shall be subject to the outcome of writ
petition(s)/OA(S), if any, pending disposal before any competent Court of jurisdiction.
The Waiting List shall lso be subject to the outcome of inquiry, if any, involving
candidates fiquring in this Wait List.
The document verification/scrutiny conducted by the Board is limited to
the extent of establishing physical possession of Category/Degree certificates and
ascertaining genuineness/validity or otherwise of the same and recognition status of
the Institution, shall be the responsibility of the Indenting Department/ Appointing
Authority.
The Selection of the candidates in the wait list has been made on the
basis of Self-declaration/ Certificates submitted by them and if at any stage, it comes
to the light that any candidate(s) has submitted false information or has secured
selection on the basis of fake documents/ certificates, the selection shall be liable to
cancellation at any stage and appropriate criminal proceedings against such
candidate/s may kindly be initiated.
The Wait Lists are also available on the website of J&K Services Selection Board
www.ikssb.nic.in and may be cross verified from it, if required.
