JKSSB Waiting List for Panchayat Secretary Posts
Waiting List for the posts of Panchayat Secretary, under Item No. 076 (District Cadre, Rajouri), Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, advertised vide Notification No. 03 of 2022 dated 26.05.20
Kindly refer to this office letter No. JKSSB-Scry/3/2024-03 (E-7402474) dated 22.05.2024, where-under the Waiting List of candidates for the posts of Panchayat Secretary, Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, advertised vide Notification No. 03 of 2022 dated 26.05.2022 was forwarded to your department for further course of action.
Moreover, in the above mentioned letter this office has requested that the waiting list in case of the selected candidate namely Bhanu Partap Singh (DV S.No: 536-JMU) under OM Category who figures at S.No. 6, Item no. 76, district Cadre Rajouri advertised vide Advertisement Notification 03 of 2022 dated 26-05-2022 may not be operated upon till further intimation.
Further, the case of candidates, Bhanu Partap Singh (DV S.No: 536-JMU) under OM Category who figures at S.No. 6, Item no. 76, and the case of provisionally selected candidate, Aadil Rashid D. V S.No. 550 KMR under Category OM/EWS were placed before the Board in its 309th Board Meeting, which decided as under:
“After due deliberations and discussions, Board decided to consider the candidate namely Aadil Rashid S/o Ab Rashid Ganie (D.V.S.No. 550-KMR) in place of Bhanu Partap Singh (D.V. S.No. 536-JMU) for the post of Panchayat Secretary, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2022 dated 26.05.2022, under OM category at Sr. No. 06, item No. 76, District Cadre Rajouri.
Board unanimously decided that although the candidate (Aadil Rashid) has marked preferences only in Kashmir Division, but has applied for all districts including districts of Jammu Division, therefore can be allotted the last district (Rajouri) as per his merit position. It was also decided to inform the indenting department accordingly.
