J&K Public Service Commission (JKPSC) today issued the selection list for 1000 Medical Officers in the Health Department.

In pursuance of Rule 5 of the Jammu & Kashmir Health & Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules,2013, as amended vide SRO 388 dated:10.09.2018, SRO 202 of 2015 dated:30.06.2015 and J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules, 2005 read with J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 1980, and on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written test held on 02.12.2018, the select list of the candidates, forming Annexure-A, against the vacancies referred by the health and Medical Education Department vide No.HME/HRM/54/2013 dated:27.09.2018 and advertised vide Notification No.12-PSC(DR-P) of 2018 dated:15.10.2018 is hereby notified.
The inclusion of the candidates in the select list is provisional and does not confer any preferential right upon these candidates for recommendation/ appointment, which shall be made in terms of the rules. It is further subject to the condition that they possess the prescribed qualification and meet the eligibility criteria laid down under the relevant recruitment rules as were applicable on the date of notification of the vacancies, conditions specified in the notification ibid and the circular issued vide Notice dated: 17.10.2018.
The provisional inclusion in the select list shall further be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending disposal before Court(s) of Law. The result of the candidates who were allowed to appear in the written test in pursuance of the Court Orders is kept withheld till further orders.
The schedule for verification of the original certificates in support of claims of the candidates pertaining to age, educational qualifications, internship, registration by State Medical Council or equivalent, category and disability, if any, etc, shall be notified separately. The candidates are as such advised to keep all the documents ready, which shall be in their own interest.
