01 Killed, 13 injured as bus rams into flyover pillar near Jammu
Jammu, Nov 27: One person was killed and 21others sustained injuries when a bus on Thursday hit the pillar of fly over in Bari Brahmana area of Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that a speedily driven bus on way from Jammu towards Kathua this morning reportedly hit a motorcyclist following which the driver lost control and hit the pillar in Bari Brahmana area.
Acting swiftly, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the nearby hospital and AIIMS Jammu.
As per reports, one of the injured was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“One person has died in the accident and 21 others sustained injuries,” said police.
The driver managed to escape from the spot.
Police however, have taken cognizance of the incident.–(UNI)
