JK News Today: 10 Teachers Found Absent during Inspection in these J&K Schools

JK News Today: In a surprise inspection conducted by the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Singhpora Kalan on Tuesday, ten teachers from two primary schools in Baramulla were found absent, raising concerns over staff accountability in the education sector.

At Government Middle School Kanispora Payeen, eight out of twelve teachers were missing from duty, while at Government Primary School Deh Kanispora, two out of seven teachers were absent.

Taking serious note of the absenteeism, ZEO Saif Din Chechi directed the absent teachers to submit a written explanation for their unauthorized leave.

Additionally, they have been ordered to report to the Zonal Office, failing which disciplinary action will be initiated.

To enforce stricter monitoring, the ZEO has also directed all Heads of Institutions (HOIs) in the zone to immediately submit photographic evidence of teacher attendance along with written leave records to ensure transparency and accountability in schools.
