24 Junior Scale Officers Promoted to JKAS

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has sanctioned the promotion of 24 Junior Scale officers to the Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) in Pay Level-11 (₹67,700–2,08,700), with effect from January 1, 2026 on a notional basis and on a regular basis prospectively
The promotions, effective from 1 January 2026 on a notional basis and regular prospectively, place the officers in pay level 11 (Rs 67,700–Rs 2,08,700). Officers Mohammad Zubair Lattoo, Narinder Kumar, Muazzam Ali, Priya Lakshmi, Mohd. Azhar Lone, Indu Jamwal, Wakeel Ahmed Batt, Asiya Nazir, Rashi Dutta, Akanksha Kalsotra, Preeti Sharma, Farukh Nasir Paul, Muneeb Umar, Bhumika Sharma, Parveez Ahmad Bhat, Saniya Malik, Aamir Ayaiz Rather, Mamta Rajput, Kewal Krishan Sharma, Shafqet Ali, Kanchan Bala, Abdul Rashid Raina, Mohd. Raiyaz, and Mohammad Yousf Ganaie were included in the promotion list.
Following the promotions, Wakeel Ahmed Batt and Farukh Nasir Paul have been designated as Deputy Secretaries in their respective departments, while the remaining officers will continue in their current postings until further orders.
