447 recruits inducted into BSF at Passing Out Parade in J&K
A total of 447 recruits were inducted into the Border Security Force (BSF) during a Passing Out Parade held at the Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), BSF, Kashmir, on the outskirts of the city in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
A BSF spokesperson said the Passing Out Parade and Attestation Ceremony marked the formal induction of 447 General Duty recruits into the force as “Seema Praharis.”
Inspector General, Subsidiary Training Centre Kashmir BSF, Solomon Yash Kumar Minz, was the chief guest on the occasion. He inspected the parade and commended the recruits for their immaculate march past, discipline, skill, and coordination, reflecting the rigorous training they underwent.
During the ceremony, the chief guest awarded medals to recruits who demonstrated exceptional performance in various indoor and outdoor training activities. Additionally, five trainees from each three batches were presented with trophies for their outstanding achievements.
The parade was commanded by recruit Constable Subhdeep Panja, who led the contingents with precision and confidence.
Senior officers of the BSF, personnel from other security forces, along with parents and family members of the trainees, witnessed the ceremony.
