J&K Bank Recruitment 2026

Efforts are underway to ease pressure on domestic fuel supplies as India moves to secure shipments of liquefied petroleum gas caught in the conflict-hit waters of West Asia, with a focus on navigating the volatile Strait of Hormuz.

At least six LPG vessels carrying around 300,000 tonnes of fuel have remained anchored in the Persian Gulf, unable to pass through the narrow maritime corridor due to ongoing hostilities involving Iran, Israel and the United States.

Amid these disruptions, two carriers, Jag Vasant and Pine Gas, have managed to secure the necessary clearances to move through the region.
