All schools who are closed in Jammu to reopen from May 19
The Directorate of School Education, Jammu (DSEJ) has directed that all government and private recognized schools in Jammu Division which are yet to open shall resume classes from May 19, 2025. The order follows a previous directive issued on May 14.
Zonal Education Officers have been instructed to ensure that all schools under their jurisdiction strictly follow the safety guidelines issued by the School Education Department and other relevant authorities.
Heads of institutions have been asked to ensure a smooth resumption of academic activities and maintain close coordination with local administration and law enforcement agencies to ensure the well-being of students and staff.
