Kathua encounter: One more terrorist killed, toll 3
Another terrorist was killed on Wednesday in an ongoing operation in the Saida Sohal area of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, taking the death toll to three.
Quoting official sources, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that security forces have killed one more terrorist in the operation which was launched late last evening after terrorists opened fire in the village

Another Terrorist has been killed in the ongoing encounter in the Hiranagar area of Kathua, an official said.

The security forces are continuing with the operation in the area,” the official said, adding, “It primarily is believed that another militant is in and around the encounter site.”
Pertinent to mention here that the encounter broke out in the area on intervening Tuesday and Wednesday night, which initially claimed the life of a CRPF trooper, identified as K Das of 121 Battalion.
CPRF personal martyred in ongoing Kathua operation
A paramilitary CRPF personnel was martyred in an ongoing operation against militants at Hiranagar in Kathua district, officials said.
They told at about 3 a.m., a Constable K Dass of CRPF’s 121 battalion sustained bullet injuries during firing by militant(s) trapped in the area. He was shifted to the Sub District Hospital Hiranagar for treatment where he succumbed to injuries, they said
A militant has been already killed in the initial phase of the encounter which had ensued after an attack in the area in which a civilian was injured.
The anti-militancy operation is going on in the woods and more details are awaited, they added
Kathua Update: One Militant Killed Operation On: Police
One unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight in Village Seda Sohal area of Kathua on Tuesday.
Officials told that, earlier few gunshots were heard in the village. Soon after it, a cordon and search operation was launched.
During searches contact was established with militants triggering off a gunfight. One militant has been killed so far, they said.
As per reports One civilian is believed to be also injured, his health condition was unknown so far. More details will follow.
