Black box of crashed aircraft recovered

Aviation authorities have found one of the two black boxes of the Air India flight that crashed in Ahmedabad on Thursday, killing 241 on board, Hindustan Times reported .

The second black box is yet to be located.

Black boxes are electronic data recorders in aircraft.

The bright orange or yellow rectangular boxes are designed to withstand high- speed crashes, explosions, fire and water pressures.

These small machines will tell what went wrong with the Ill-fated flight.
