DSEK changes school timings
Whereas, several requests are pouring in from parents and other
stakeholders regarding change in school timings for students clue to the
ongoing heatwave, and;
Whereas, according to the weather forecast, the same conditions dre
expected to continue for some more time.
Now therefore, in view of the above and considering the requests frorn
parents and various stakeholders, as well as the weather forecast, c!assvmrk
in all Government and Recognised Private Schools up to the Higher Secondary
level in the summer Zone of Jammu Division shall commence from 8.00 am to
1.00 pm.
It is further clarified that Teaching and Non-Teaching staff sha! atead
their duties from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm. This arrangement will continue upto
10th August, 2024
