Heatwave to Worsen, MeT Director Kashmir Urges Public to Take Precautions

Director MeT Kashmir, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, has stated that the heatwave in Jammu and Kashmir is intensifying and is likely to worsen in the coming days. He advised people to take precautions, particularly pregnant women, children and the elderly, urging them to stay hydrated.

Director MeT Kashmir also recommended that laborers consume plenty of fluids to protect themselves from the effectsย ofย theย heat.
