IGP Jammu promotes 1,520 police personnel on Diwali
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, Bhim Sen Tuti, has issued promotion orders for 1,520 police personnel across various ranks in the Jammu Zone on the occasion of Diwali.
Among those promoted are 10 ASIs who have been elevated to the rank of Sub-Inspectors, 4 Head Constables promoted as Assistant Sub-Inspectors, 874 Selection Grade Constables promoted as Head Constables, and 632 Constables elevated to Selection Grade Constable.
In a statement, the IGP said the Jammu and Kashmir Police is committed to encouraging merit and motivating personnel to continue serving with enthusiasm and discipline.
He congratulated all promoted officials and urged them to uphold the values and prestige of the police force while ensuring the safety and security of the public.
