Jammu News: Notorious Criminal Booked Under PSA In Arnia
Jammu News: In a significant action to maintain law and order, Jammu and Kashmir Police have booked a notorious criminal under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) in the Arnia area of Jammu.
Raman Kumar of Kathar, Arnia, has been booked under PSA for his repeated involvement in violent and unlawful activities, posing a threat to public peace and safety, a police official said.
Despite several FIRs and arrests, Raman continued with his criminal behaviour, making routine legal measures ineffective, he said.
“As a result, preventive detention under the PSA was considered necessary. The PSA warrant issued by the District Magistrate Jammu was executed on April 17, 2025, and Raman was shifted to District Jail Udhampur,” the police official said.
