J&K Govt Blacklists Vendor, Pvt Individual Over Fire Services Scam
The Jammu and Kashmir Government has blacklisted IT vendor M/s LMES IT LLP and private individual Maharaj Krishan Wali from participating in all future Government recruitment bids.
The sanction, issued on November 26, 2025, followed a probe into the massive irregularities that plagued the 2020 selection process for Firemen/Firemen Drivers.
An Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) verification confirmed that M/s LMES IT LLP, despite being the L-2 bidder with a significantly higher quote, was illegally awarded the contract over the lowest bidder (L-1).
The ACB cited the company’s ineligibility due to lack of mandated experience and fraudulent use of another firm’s financial records.
