As per officials, the move comes keeping in view delays in inter-hospital referrals, lack of uniform clinical decision-making across institutions, limited access to specialist consultations in peripheral areas, and duplication of efforts in patient management and research.
The initiative aims to leverage digital platforms to bridge these gaps, ensure timely expert opinion, and optimise resource utilisation across the Union Territory.
