JK News Today : In a significant move aimed at empowering women and enhancing their mobility, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir is set to flag off a free bus service for women on April 1, 2025, at 2:30 PM from the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar.

According to an official communication from the Chief Minister’s Office, all necessary arrangements have been directed to ensure smooth coordination among the concerned departments for the successful execution of the event.

This initiative is expected to provide safe and affordable travel options for women in the region. Authorities, including the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, the Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, and other key officials, have been instructed to facilitate seamless arrangements for the inaugural event.
