Heavy to very heavy snowfall possible in plains of Kashmir on 22 & 23 January
As of now, seasons first snowfall is possible across the most plains of Kashmir from night of 22 January. On 23 January moderate to heavy snowfall is expected over North and central Kashmir with heavy to very heavy snow is possible over middle and plains of South kashmir between 22-24 January morning.
Snowfall accumulation ranges from 8 inches to 2 feet in south kashmir plains.
Central and north kashmir plains will also receive Good snow spell the accumulation touches 6 inches to 1 feet.
Note : this situation is based on today analysis, the accumulation can vary from area to area in coming days but the major snowfall is expected.
