JKSSB JKP Constable Posts Age Relaxation Issue – CAT’s Order
All the issues are answered against the petitioners. The delay in recruitment was due to administrative reasons and the pandemic, and cannot be called mala fide. The age limit of 28 years for Constables is justified by the nature of duties and applies equally to all candidates.
Courts cannot create or direct age relaxation in recruitment rules.Accordingly, the writ petition/TA is dismissed. Interim directions,
if any, are vacated. No order as to costs.
