University of Kashmir Announces Winter Vacation Schedule
The University of Kashmir has informed all concerned that the teaching departments of both main and off-site campuses will observe the winter vacation from January 10, 2026, to February 22, 2026.

During this period, while regular classes will remain suspended, the Heads, Directors, and Coordinators of various departments, satellite campuses, and centres are directed to ensure that their offices continue to function normally. All examinations, academic activities, and other official work will be conducted according to the already approved schedule.
This decision has been issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs and is applicable to all teaching departments of the University.
The notice was issued on January 9, 2026, under reference F (Winter-Break-2026) DAA/KU-01.

Copies of the order have been forwarded to university authorities including the Deans, Heads of Departments, Library, Hostels, Dean Students Welfare, and the Vice-Chancellor’s office for information and necessary action.
