Ladakh Govt hikes DA
The Union Territory administration of Ladakh has announced a hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees drawing pay under the 6th Central Pay Commission, raising it from existing 246 percent to 252 percent of basic pay.
As per an order issued by the Finance Department of the UT, the revised DA will be effective from January 1, 2025.
“In pursuance to the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Office Memorandum number 1/1(2)/2025-E.II(B) dated April 2, 2025,
it is hereby ordered that the Dearness Allowance payable to the employees of Union Territory of Ladakh continuing to draw pay in the scale/grade pay as per 6th Central Pay Commission, shall be enhanced from the existing 246% of the basic pay to 252% of the basic pay with effect from January 1, 2025,” read an order issued by the Finance Department of the UT.
