LG Sinha Congratulates University Of Kashmir On Securing Prestigious A++ NAAC Grade
Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has congratulated the University of Kashmir for being awarded the prestigious A++ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), with an exceptional CGPA of 3.68 on a seven-point scale.
Taking to X, he said that it a proud moment for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, LG Sinha lauded the efforts of Vice Chancellor Prof. Nilofer Khan, the faculty, students, and staff of the University. “This remarkable achievement places the University of Kashmir among the top institutions in the country and is a testament to its dedication to academic excellence,” he said.
LG Sinha also said that this recognition would further strengthen the University’s role as a beacon of knowledge, innovation, and transformative education. He extended his best wishes to the entire university community for continued success and impactful contributions to society.
The A++ grade awarded by NAAC is the highest accreditation status, reflecting excellence in key parameters including teaching, research, infrastructure, and overall institutional performance, he added.
