MS Dhoni won’t be taking part in the first couple of weeks of IPL 2026, which gets underway from March 28 (Saturday).

The development was confirmed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday.
“MS Dhoni is currently undergoing rehabilitation for a calf strain. As a result, he is likely to miss the first two weeks of TATA IPL 2026. Get well soon, Thala,” the franchise informed in a social media post.
