The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the online application process for NEET-UG 2026, giving medical aspirants from Jammu and Kashmir a chance to vie for 1,526 MBBS seats available in Government Medical Colleges across the Union Territory.

Registration Begins: February 8, 2026
Last Date to Apply: March 8, 2026 (up to 9:00 PM)
Application Correction Window: March 10 to March 12, 2026
NEET-UG 2026 Examination: May 3, 2026 (single shift across the country)
Admissions to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical programmes in Jammu and Kashmir will be made exclusively on the basis of NEET-UG merit.
Under the seat distribution policy:
15 per cent seats will be filled through the All India Quota via MCC counselling.
85 per cent seats will be allotted under the J&K quota through JKBOPEE counselling.
