No major improvement in weather till evening
There is no major improvement in weather till evening so rain showers is likely to persist until evening over Jammu and Kashmir.
Some parts of Jammu and South Kashmir are likely to receive another round of heavy rainfall during next 4-6 hrs . Same as expected over central and few parts of North Kashmir.
Vishow Nallah, Sheshnag Nallah and Lidder Nallah has already crossed danger mark level.
Water levels of Jhelum at Sangam and Ram Munshi Bagh are likely to surpass the Flood Declaration mark and may even breach the Danger Level today. A sharp rise in water level is expected as rain showers is likely to continue.
People are urged to remain alert and stay indoors.
