There’s good news for farmers. The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme may be released in the first week of November. However, the government has not yet made an official announcement regarding the date. Therefore, farmers who have not yet completed their registration or eKYC should do so soon, so that the next installment of ₹2,000 is credited to their accounts on time.
What is the PM-Kisan Scheme ?

Every four months, an installment of ₹2,000 is directly transferred to the farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The scheme was announced in the 2019 Interim Budget and launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today, it is considered the world’s largest DBT scheme.
