Conduct of Remedial Teaching Classes by Recognised Private Educational Institutions of Kashmir Division for the year 2025–26.

CIRCULAR

Whereas applications from Heads of Recognised Private Educational Institutions of Kashmir Division are pouring in this Directorate for grant of permission to start remedial teaching classes in their respective school premises during vacations.

Whereas on perusal of these representations it has been found that they intend to provide remedial classes to students due to the fact that the working days in Kashmir Division are very less due to prolonged vacations, climatic constraints, administrative closure directives and other unavoidable circumstances.

In view of the above, permission is hereby granted for conduct of remedial classes by Recognised Private Educational Institutions during winter vacation, as per their recognition status, subject to the following conditions:

1. The remedial / supplementary teaching is carried out with prior consent of the parents and should be on voluntary basis.

2. No extra fee is charged from the students.

3. There should be appropriate heating arrangement in the classrooms.

4. Remedial class work shall be conducted between 11.00 am to 3.00 pm only.
