PUBLIC NOTICE
Whereas a communication has been received from the Traffic Police Jammu and Kashmir duly forwarded from Transport Commissioner J&K, wherein it has been stated that several vehicles were e- challaned under the provisions of MV act and the same are pending for disposal and instructed this office for strict action against the defaulters.

Therefore, all vehicle owners/operators falling within the jurisdiction of District Rajouri are hereby given one time exemption and directed them to clear the pending challans within a period of seven (10) days from the date of publication of this notice;
And further, in case of failure to comply with the above directions within the stipulated time, strict action shall be initiated against the defaulters under the relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, including but not limited to imposition of penalties, suspension of documents and seizure of vehicles, without any further notice.
