Rusted mortar shell defused near LoC in J&K Poonch
A rusted mortar shell was defused in a village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Sunday.
The mortar shell was noticed by some locals in forward Bandi Chechian village of Haveli tehsil on Saturday evening, the officials said.
They said the area was immediately cordoned off by police and later the explosive shell was safely defused by the army experts.
