Security Forces Bust Old Terrorist Hideout in Hamnadi Forests of Anantnag

Security forces on Wednesday busted an old terrorist hideout during a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) in the Liver–Hamnadi forest area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

A top police officer told news agency, that the operation was launched following specific intelligence inputs about suspicious activity in the forest belt.

During the search, the hideout was detected and subsequently destroyed to prevent its future use by terrorists, the officer said, adding that the operation was carried out smoothly the officer added.
