Engineers India
State-owned Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has won a contract worth ₹618 crore from a fertilizer company in Africa. The order includes Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services for setting up a new fertilizer project. The project is expected to be completed in 24 months. On Friday, the company’s stock closed 0.20% lower at ₹208.50.

Shakti Pumps
Renewable energy and engineering firm Shakti Pumps has received an order worth ₹374 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL). The order is for the supply and installation of 34,720 off-grid solar water pumping systems under the government’s Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B scheme. On Friday, the stock rose 6.43% to close at ₹861.

Adani Power
Adani Power has secured a contract from Bihar State Power Generation Company for a 2,400 MW thermal power project. The project will be built in Bhagalpur district using ultra-supercritical technology. On Friday, the stock surged 3.86% to close at ₹648.75.

RailTel Corporation
State-owned RailTel Corporation of India has bagged an order worth ₹209.79 crore from the Bihar Education Project Council. The company said it has received a letter of acceptance from the State Project Director (SPD). On Friday, the stock rose 2.86% to ₹373.80.

GMR Airports
GMR Airports reported a 3.5% year-on-year decline in passenger traffic in August, handling 9.349 million passengers during the period. Aircraft movement fell over 4%, although on an annual basis it rose 4.2% to 58,813.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals
Alembic Pharmaceuticals announced that its Panelav API-I and API-II facilities have received an Establishment Inspection Report from the US FDA. The units were inspected between May 26 and 31. On Friday, the stock closed 0.18% lower at ₹945.40.

Dr Reddy’s
Dr Reddy’s Hyderabad-based biologics manufacturing facility has received five observations in a Form 483 from the US FDA. The inspection was conducted between September 4 and 12, 2025. On Friday, the stock rose 0.84% to close at ₹1,314.

ASM Technologies
IT and engineering services company ASM Technologies Ltd has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government. The company will invest ₹250 crore to enhance its Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) capabilities. The investment also includes setting up a new state-of-the-art design center on 5 acres of land.

DCX Systems Ltd
Defense and aerospace company DCX Systems Ltd has signed a non-binding MoU with the Tamil Nadu government. Under this, the company will establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hosur in partnership with Israel’s ELTA Systems and its group firms.

Diamond Power
Diamond Power has received an order worth ₹236.71 crore from Adani Energy Solutions Ltd for the supply of 5,403 kilometers of AL-59 Zebra conductor for the Jamnagar project. The order is to be completed by June 30, 2026. On Friday, the stock rose 1.23% to close at ₹149.25.

Vedanta Limited
Vedanta Ltd’s subsidiary Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd (TSPL) has signed a settlement agreement with SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation. This resolves long-standing disputes related to EPC contracts for its 3×660 MW thermal power project. On Friday, the stock rose 2.92% to close at ₹450.50.

Apollo Hospitals
Apollo Hospitals announced that it will acquire IFC’s 31% stake in Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd (AHLL) for ₹1,254 crore. After the deal, Apollo Hospitals’ stake in AHLL will rise to 99.42%. The acquisition is subject to CCI approval.

Aditya Birla Capital
Aditya Birla Capital has raised ₹3,400 crore. The company mobilized the funds in two tranches through the allotment of 3.4 lakh secured Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). These NCDs have been listed on BSE and NSE.

Info Edge
Info Edge has received a whistleblower complaint alleging policy violations by some employees linked to its real estate vertical, 99acres. The company has appointed an expert law firm to conduct an independent investigation into the matter. On Friday, the stock closed 0.62% lower at ₹1,363.40.
