Traffic Police Jammu Advisory On The Eve Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji
The main function in connection with celebration of 555th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Ji Maharaj will be held at Gurdwara Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Chand Nagar, Jammu on 15-11-2024 at 1000 hours and the general public is requested to follow the following traffic diversions/restrictions for smooth plying of vehicles, so that no inconvenience to general public is caused:-
DIVERSIONS:-
● The vehicles coming from Indira Chowk bound for JP Chowk/Vivekananda Chowk shall be diverted towards Fly-Over or B.C. Road till the function is over.
● The vehicles coming from Residency Road bound for Dogra Chowk will be diverted towards Gujjar Nagar.
● The vehicles coming from Bikram Chowk bound for Dogra Chowk, Vinayak Bazar, JP Chowk, Indira Chowk etc. will be diverted via Fly over till the function is over.
● No vehicular movement shall be allowed from Dogra Chowk to Vivekananda Chowk and vice versa till the function is over.
PARKING ARRANGEMENTS:-
● Vehicles of the devotees will be parked near Early Times Office Building and one tube of road opposite JDA Park near Hotel Fortune Rivera and River Tawi.
● One tube from Dogra Chowk to Vivekananda Chowk shall be used for parking of vehicles of devotees.
● Parking slot of Jammu Hut shall also be used for parking of vehicles of devotees as per past practice.
● In addition to above, some vehicles can also be parked in and around the M.A Stadium.
