Winter Vacations for Kashmir Schools Likely After Two Weeks 

The School Education Department is expected to announce winter vacations in a phased manner from the first week of December for Kashmir’s winter zone schools.

As per sources, Minister Sakina Itoo has suggested:

Primary classes: From 1st week of December

Classes up to 12th: From 2nd week of December

The final decision will depend on weather conditions, as the government aims to complete around 10% of the syllabus before holidays.

Srinagar recently recorded the coldest night of the season at -2.1°C, adding to the growing call for early vacations
