Winter Vacations Announced in Jammu Schools – Check Dates
Winter vacations in summer zone areas of Jammu Division.
It is hereby ordered that all the Government Educational Institutions and recognized Private Schools up to Higher Secondary level (Summer zones) of Jammu Division shall observe winter vacations according to the following schedule:
Pre-primary to 5th classes : From 22-12-2025 to 10-01-2026.
6th to 8th standard : From 26-12-2025 to 10-01-2026.
From 9th standard to 12th standard : From 29-12-2025 to 10-01-2026.
It is further ordered that :

All teaching faculty shall remain available for any academic activity during the vacation period.

The teaching staff shall report back to their respective schools on 10-01-2026.

Any default on the part of the Heads of Institutions/Teaching staff in observance of the above schedule shall attract strict action under the rules.
