1. Human Rights Day 2025 observed

Theme for Human Rights Day 2025: “Equality, Justice & Freedom for All.”

Celebrated annually on 10 December to commemorate the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) 1948.

2. India launches ‘Mission Suraksha Kavach’

Aim: Strengthen cyber defence infrastructure and protect critical sectors.

8. RBI allows UPI payments to NRIs without Indian mobile number

NRIs can now use international mobile numbers to access UPI services.

Supported in US, UK, UAE, Singapore, Australia, Canada and more.
