1. PM Modi visits Manipur
   Prime Minister Modi visited Manipur — his first trip since ethnic violence started in 2023. He inaugurated development projects worth over ₹7,000+ crore and met with displaced victims of the unrest.

2. New Rajdhani Express (Sairang-Anand Vihar)
   Indian Railways is launching a weekly Rajdhani Express between Sairang (in Mizoram) and Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi). This will be the first Rajdhani serving Mizoram.

3. IMD weather warning
   Continued monsoon activity: IMD has warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall across parts of South, Northeast and East India due to active monsoon trough and cyclonic circulations.
