SBI to Discontinue mCASH Service
State Bank of India (SBI) will stop its mCASH โsend and claimโ facility in OnlineSBI and YONO Lite from 1 December 2025.
Customers are being advised to switch to UPI, IMPS, NEFT, or RTGS for third-party fund transfers.
The mCASH service allowed sending money to a mobile number or email without needing to add a beneficiary.
India Becomes 6th-Largest Patent Filer
Union MoS Dr Jitendra Singh announced that India has filed over 64,000 patent applications, making it the 6th-largest patent filer globally.
Over 55% of these filings are by resident Indian innovators, indicating a strong domestic innovation push.
According to him, Indiaโs rank in the Global Innovation Index has improved from 81 โ 38.
CII Partnership Summit โ Visakhapatnam
The 30th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit is underway in Visakhapatnam.
The Vice-President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan, inaugurated the summit.
