1. India and Bangladesh Collaborate for Transboundary Tiger Conservation
- A cross-border initiative, focused on harmonious coexistence with tigers in the Sunderbans, seeks to preserve biodiversity in both India and Bangladesh.
- The people-centric engagement took place at Joymoni, Bagerhat District, Bangladesh, under the Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Program supported by IUCN and Germany’s KfW Development Bank.
- The WTI partnered with the Lokamata Rani Rashmoni Mission, Joynagar (West Bengal), and WildTeam, Bangladesh.

2. Japan commits ODA loan of JPY 232.209 billion for nine projects in India

- Samajwadi Party MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq (93-years) died during treatment at a private hospital in Moradabad.
- He was elected Samajwadi Party MP from Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh) for the fifth time in 2019.
- Shafiqur Rahman Barq was the oldest member of the current Lok Sabha.
