India is sending 23 competitors to the WorldSkills Asia 2025 competition, held in Chinese Taipei.
The event will cover 21 skill categories and is backed by the National Skill Development Corporation.

The IAC-2025 (International Agronomy Congress) is ongoing in New Delhi (24–26 Nov)
Theme: “Re-envisioning Agronomy for Smart Agro-Food Systems and Environmental Protection.”
INS Mahe Commissioned
INS Mahe, an indigenously built shallow-water anti-submarine warfare vessel, was commissioned on 24 Nov 2025.
Built by Cochin Shipyard, it has ~80% indigenous content.
Tourist Visas for Chinese Nationals Resumed
India has resumed issuing tourist visas to Chinese nationals from 24 July 2025, ending a 5-year suspension.
This is seen as part of the diplomatic and tourism revival.
Labour Codes Fully Implemented
All four new labour codes (Wages, Industrial Relations, Social Security, and Occupational Safety) came into effect from 21 November 2025.
Public Holiday in Delhi: Guru Tegh Bahadur Shaheedi Diwas
Delhi Government has declared 25 November 2025 a public holiday to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Bengaluru Declares “No Meat Day”
The Greater Bengaluru Authority has banned meat sales in the city on 25 Nov 2025, calling it “No Non-Veg Day.”
